Wide Plank Douglas Fir with White Oil is impressive! It’s ideal for everything from chick country to contemporary style homes. The raw material originates in the United States and travels all all over the world to our customers. It is only harvested during the winter months when the sap is not rising. Our planks are hand crafted and consist of three-layers with the top and bottoms made of the same species, ensuring perfect balance. The middle layer runs across the grain for maximum strength. All layers are glued together under high pressure. When assembly is complete, we give each plank a superior brushed textured surface and add a our white oil finish. This makes it our finished product perfectly suitable for all damp areas including kitchens and bathrooms.
