Today, Old Growth Eastern White Pine is available as a reclaimed specie and is referred to as Antique White Pine and “Pumpkin Pine”. As urban populations have expanded in New England, large numbers of cabins, barns and other old structures have become slated for demolition. Plankmaker carefully reclaims these rare materials and painstakingly recycles them. It is from these raw materials we that craft our spectacular wide plank engineered floors. Centuries of aging has given Antique White Pine a patina and character that makes it even more beautiful than it was originally. Additionally, every single plank now has its own special history and story to tell.
