Aged Woods are special products we create. They all have a special patina which is created by our environmentally friendly aging process. This special aging process gives each plank the look and feel of floors that are already 100 years old. The aged color of the planks rangess from light to dark in color and is the same color all the way through the face. So, no matter how many times an aged floor is sanded over its lifetime, its finished color will always be the same after applying a natural finish. Aged floors are only available as engineered floors with a penetrating natural oil finish. Engineered Aged Flooring can be nailed, glued, or floated anywhere–above grade, below grade, or on grade over either concrete or wooden subfloors. They are guaranteed not to water spot and are extremely easy to care for. Plankmaker offers many other species with an aged appearance as well, but these are only offered on a custom basis.
