Eastern White Pine is available today both as an old growth and as a reclaimed specie. Reclaimed Antique White Pine is also often referred to as “Pumpkin Pine” due to its beautiful aged color. As urban populations have expanded in New England, large numbers of cabins, barns and other old structures have become slated for demolition. Plankmaker carefully reclaims these rare materials and painstakingly recycles their beams and boards. It is from these raw materials we that craft our spectacular wide plank solid and engineered floors. Centuries of aging has given Antique White Pine a patina and character that makes it even more beautiful than it was originally. Additionally, every single plank now has its own special history and story to tell. We offer a certificate of authenticity to all of our customers that have an interest in this woods unique history.
